Hiatus & Update

So we have decided to take a break of undetermined length for a few reasons until we are both in a place where we feel confident and ready to bring a child into our family. I worry about me aging more during this wait, but it is the right choice for now.

We also found out that our donor will be moving back to California later this year (around September), so we will be able to keep using him and get fresher samples.

Can't say I'm not saddened to have to wait but it will all be for the best.

CD 1

After some light spotting last night, AF showed up just now. Not surprised. I guess now we need to figure out what to do this cycle and contact our donor...

Still in limbo

We broke down and bought a few more pregnancy tests last night. Had a negative last night and this morning and still no AF.

Today is CD 36; 19 & 20 dpi (I think)

Another white space

Today is 14 & 15 dpi and another negative test this morning...

BFN this morning

So today is 13 & 14 dpi; negative test. Can't say I'm all too shocked since my temps look pretty normal. Doesn't mean it doesn't suck though...

Another delay

So we had planned on doing 2 insems this cycle to up our chances. However, my cycle was really wonky around days 8-10 and we think I either ovulated way early or had a leftover follicle or cyst that erupted. So now we wait until my cycle starts again and hope we can fit in an attempt during that cycle between a couple of trips; one business, one personal/pleasure.

I hate having to skip another cycle, but it would have been a bust if we had gone through with the insem "just cuz".

Negative

The end of the 2ww+ has arrived with this morning, 17dpi. I had gotten my hopes up some but alas, another cycle that didn't take.
Well, all we can do is look onward to attempt #6 in November.
